To Start,
Breastfeeding is a very special understanding for mothers and the children. It creates a joyful bond between mothers and the babies. It gives immense nutrition to the child that only you can provide, and it shows health benefits to mothers.

Why Breastfeeding is so important?
Breastfeeding decreases the risk of several illness in both mother and the child.
Looking on to it deeply,
How is the child benefited?
- First Milk which is called Colostrum. It is thick and yellow in color must be given to the child. As this milk is very rich in all nutrients which a child can get.
- Breast milk gives all the necessary nutrition like protein, fat, vitamins, iron to the child from first month to 5 months of the baby.
- Breast milk comes in a right form of heat which makes it easy for the baby to digest it.
- It boosts immunity to the child more than animal milk or any other formula milk.
- Breastfed babies get cured easily from all kind of flu than non-breast-fed babies.
- Breastfeeding tends to reduce Asthma and Eczema condition in babies.
- Researchers even say it shows fast brain development in breast milk fed babies.
- And the death rate of breast milk fed babies is far less when compared to non-breast milk fed babies.
So, how is the mother benefited?
- Not, only babies, mothers are also benefited by breastfeeding in various ways.
- Whenever breastfeeding your baby, a hormone called Oxytocin is being released from the mother’s body which helps in stopping the post-delivery bleeding and cures the post- delivery uterus soon.
- Researchers also says that Breastfeeding brings tension hormones in mothers to normalcy level.
- Breastfeeding helps in weight reduction and helps in maintaining the post-pregnancy tummy levels.
- Breastfeeding also reduces the chances of getting pregnant soon after post-delivery.
- During breastfeeding months Calcium in mothers are transferred to babies, so the bone strength is less during breastfeeding times. But after stopping the breastfeeding its been seen majorly that breastfeeding mother’s bone strength is higher than the non-breastfeeding mothers.
So, looking on to the importance of Breastfeeding, most of the Health and Children’s organization promotes breastfeeding and recommends Exclusive Breastfeeding for 6 months of the baby. And minimum of 11/2 to 2 years of breastfeeding with solid foods.
And in the month of August, the First week 1 to 7th August is celebrated as Breastfeeding Week.
But Why the World celebrates it? It’s a Kind of Awareness to show the Importance of Breastfeeding and telling mothers to Breastfeed their babies.

I know that I’m a male candidate, but I really appreciate this article as it helps to create the awareness of breastfeeding. Really, every mother should breastfeed her child to make the baby stronger and healthier. Anyhow, thanks for sharing this wonderful context filled with awareness stuff. I’ve shared this article with my sister who had recently given a birth to a little cut princess.

Breastfeeding is the most natural thing as this is how mankind evolved until today. I just gave birth to a baby girl 3 months ago and the only food she is having is my breastmilk. Nothing else. I wish every mother can provide breastmilk for their baby. I wasn’t so fortunate as my mom didn’t breastfeed me when I was young.
